Stage Hand
Stages Northwest (SNW) is the region’s premier supplier for epic music festivals and sporting events, corporate gatherings and private weddings. We have over 40 years of industry experience and expertise, and we are looking to grow our team for the 2026 season.
Position Overview
Our Stage Hand position will assist with the set-up and take down of production staging and rigging.
Essential Functions
- Unload trucks at job sites.
- Set-up stages and rigging per drawing(s) and instructions from supervisor.
- Take down stages & rigging and put inventory on carts or in boxes.
- Load trucks at job sites.
- Use and return company provided tools and equipment.
Job Requirments/Skills
- Adherence to the safety policies and procedures of the company.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who treats co-workers, vendors, and customers with respect.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to do basic math.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong oral and written communication.
Education/Experience
- Age 16 years or older
- Prior experience with hand tools.
- Prior production staging/rigging is preferred.
- Prior construction experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Requires walking, carrying, reaching, standing, climbing, and stooping.
- Requires lifting or lowering, pushing or pulling of weights up to 80 lbs.
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Reasonable accommodations may be mad for individuals with disabilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Job sites with outdoor weather conditions.
- Indoor climate-controlled job sites.
- The noise level is moderate to loud.
